KAY TROWBRIDGE » NASHVILLE, TN

Marketing Professional with Live Entertainment Experience Seeking Full-Time Opportunities in Digital Marketing & Social Media, Publicity, Venue Operations, and/or Live Events

A native of Greenville, SC, I relocated to Nashville in December 2012. With a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Spanish from Clemson University, I have taken courses in Accounting, Business Writing, Creative Writing, Economics, Entrepreneurship, International Marketing, Finance, Market Research, Statistics, and Spanish Writing for Business. I also studied abroad in Florence, Italy, in the Spring of 2011, where I studied Consumer Behavior, Entrepreneurship, Fashion Buying and Fashion Marketing.

A former AEG Live intern, I was immediately hired as a Marketing Assistant at AEG Live / TMG, where I started out processing invoices, ordering marketing materials and preparing day of show settlements. By the time I left the company in August 2014, I was managing six social media accounts for AEG Live / TMG and The Woods at Fontanel, marketing 1/3 of AEG's shows, spearheading the company's street team efforts, handling all publicity requests for a Pollstar Award-nominated venue, and helping to launch 3 national tours, in addition to the responsibilities listed above. To date, I have helped market over 250 events and worked two full seasons of summer shows. (For a complete list of events I have worked, click here.)

In the months since I left AEG Live / TMG, I have worked as an independent consultant at Kaleidoscope Media, where I conducted market research and publicity work for major clients such as AC Entertainment, The Bonnaroo Works Fund, Boot Barn, and juice.Nashvilleâ„¢. I also found temporary employment with Romeo Entertainment Group, a national full-service talent buying company, where I continued to gain experience as a Marketing & Talent Buying Coordinator servicing over 40 accounts for fairs and festivals across the U.S.

After parting amicably with the company in February 2015, I find myself on the lookout for additional opportunities in Digital Marketing and Social Media, Publicity, Venue Operations, and/or Live Events. I created this website as a means of showcasing my talents and sharing with the world my two greatest passions: music and travel. You'll find a portfolio of some of my past work here, along with pictures of some of the places I've been (currently 10 different countries and counting.) It's a work in progress, as I am constantly uploading new examples of my work and searching for more adventures to go on!
